The Hillside

Renovation

Jamaica Plan, MA

The homeowners of a Jamaica Plain house, built in 1930, sought an updated kitchen now that their children were growing up and spending more time cooking.  Avid gardeners, the homeowners also wanted to see out to their year-round front garden. Custom walnut cabinetry mixes with white elements and counter-to-ceiling windows to create this refreshed sunlit Tudor kitchen.

The reconfigured first floor included a new mudroom with secondary entrance, relocated powder room, walk-in pantry with custom cabinetry, and a custom built-in desk in the hallway connecting the kitchen to the mudroom.

“We would highly recommend working with Kevin and his team on your home renovation project. Their process from start to finish is streamlined and efficient and we have great faith in the integrity of their work throughout. We have worked with Kevin Cradock Builders on three different projects over the years and would happily do so again.”
