PROJECT MANAGER
Kevin Cradock Builders is looking for an experienced Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years' experience in construction project management. A background in construction is key, along with the ability to work as part of a team alongside team members of all skill levels.
A strong background in creating/modifying documents, generating and maintaining schedules using spreadsheets, and communicating clearly via email will be needed.

Kevin Cradock Builders is looking for experienced woodworkers and millworkers. If you can build a cabinet from a set of drawings, set up a shaper accurately, or lay out veneered doors, this job may be for you.

JOURNEYMAN CARPENTER
We currently have a position available for an experienced carpenter.
The ideal candidate will have 10 or more years' experience in residential carpentry and remodeling, with an emphasis on specialized hands-on carpentry skills such as roof layout, stair framing and finishing, stain-grade trim work and high-tolerance millwork installation.
Excellent craftsmanship is a requirement, along with the ability to work as part of a team and provide training to less experienced team members. Carpenters are expected to maintain a full set of tools, a professional-looking, functional work truck, and a neat appearance.

Kevin Cradock Builders is a prominent Boston-based renovation, construction and woodworking company, in business since 1998. We are a general contractor with an emphasis on specialized hands-on carpentry skills such as roof and stair framing, stain-grade trim work and high-tolerance millwork installation. In our Boston woodworking shop, we fabricate cabinets, moldings, doors and windows, along with furniture and other custom work.

SHOP FINISHER
Kevin Cradock Builders is looking for an experienced Shop Finisher.
Overview
Responsible for project final finish quality
Plans and completes shop finishing; works alone or with (1) or (2) assistants
Successfully sprays and brushes water-based products (“Fine Paints of Europe” is our standard paint) Matches finish samples as needed including stained and/or dyed items
Completes onsite finishing when needed (a few times each year)
Fulfills other shop duties as requested or needed
Collaboration
Manages and guides other finishers or assistants
Works closely with shop Production Manager and Millwork Manager
Develops tactics with the woodworking team to plan finishing approaches and sequencing Inspects detailing and directs shop crew to refine areas/items as needed
Generally identifies surface prep issues before finishing
Facility, supplies, and equipment
Maintains finishing equipment; troubleshoots and does routine repairs/replacements
Maintains supply levels in the Finishing Department; plans inventory for upcoming work; purchases items as needed
Organization
Keeps accessible and accurate records of finish samples and recipes from past projects Organizes work storage; manages or neatly maintains housekeeping in the finishing area
